Xenia Condos – Discover Unique Midwestern History in Ohio
Located 21 miles from Dayton in southwestern Ohio, the city of Xenia remains one of the most unique communities in the state. Starting with its curious name (which translates to the Greek word for “hospitality”) to its singular claim to fames (Xenia was the setting for the cult film “Gummo”), this community stands out as one of the most intriguing cities in the region. The area boasts a rich history of tolerance, operating as one of the main hubs of the Underground Railroad in the years preceding the Civil War. This region is also the historical homeland of the Shawnee Indian tribe. The birthplace of famous Shawnee war Chief Tecumseh is located just north of Xenia in an area known as Old Town. For commuters, Xenia condos offer the perfect strategic point for traveling around southwestern Ohio. Xenia is situated conveniently in a “transportation triangle” that is bordered by three major highways, which include I-70, I-71 and I-75.
